Q1: How many samples can be tested at once?
A: The Gakushin Rubbing Tester GT-D06 features 6 Working positions, allowing you to test up to 6 different specimens simultaneously, which greatly improves testing efficiency compared to single-station models.
Q2: Can it be used for both dry and wet rubbing tests?
A: Yes. By adjusting the moisture content of the rubbing cloth according to the standard, the machine accurately performs both dry and wet rubbing fastness evaluations.
Q3: What is the benefit of the "Gakushin" (Type II) design over the standard Crockmeter?
A: The Gakushin-style tester uses a curved rubbing head and a specific arc-shaped motion, which is mandatory for many JIS-based quality assessments, especially in the Japanese automotive and textile industries.
Q4: Is the machine easy to maintain and calibrate?
A: Yes, the GT-D06 is built for durability with minimal maintenance required. GESTER provides detailed calibration instructions to ensure the pressure and stroke remain within standard tolerances.
