The Martindale Abrasion and Pilling Tester is the standard method of determining the wear resistance of textiles or leather and the resistance to pilling.

Below are two testing steps for Martindale.

1.1 Test abrading table installation.

1.2 Put on the installed sample holder assembly on abrasion table and use 1pc of boltto fixed it. Place the weight(12Kpa or 9Kpa), according to the standard selection.
