Application

COBB Absorption Tester is specially for detecting the water absorption performance of paper and paperboard. It is mainly used for paper, paperboard, gray cardboard, art paper and other paper products of COBB water absorbency determination.

This cobb tester is mainly used to measure the amount of surface water absorption of sized paper and paperboard under the standard conditions. Those loose papers (such as newsprint paper), unsized paper (such as blotting paper), and other papers with relatively high water absorption are not suitable for this instrument.
