Product Introduction

Application:

COF tester has dual test functions of friction coefficient and 180° peel strength, that is, it can meet various national standards and other international standard methods to test the static friction coefficient and dynamic friction coefficient of plastic films, sheets, foils, paper, cardboard, woven bags, fabric styles, metal composite belts for communication cables and optical cables, conveyor belts, textiles, and papermaking. The friction coefficient/peel tester can also meet the small force peel strength determination of various adhesive composite products, medical patches, release paper, protective films, mobile phone touch screens and other products.

Principle

Friction coefficient: Lay one of the two film materials involved in the test flat on the test table, and fix the other on a slider of a certain weight. Place the two test surfaces flat together, and move the two surfaces relative to each other under a certain contact pressure. Record the required friction force. The test force divided by the weight of the slider is the friction coefficient value.


Peel test: Place the test sample adhesive surface against the standard test plate, roll it three times with a standard pressure roller, clamp it on the peel tester, peel the sample and the test plate at 180°, and the force sensor records the force value during the peeling process. The average force value divided by the sample width is the peel strength.
