The GESTER GT-KB48 is designed to scientifically test footwear slip resistance. Its primary function is to measure the dynamic coefficient of friction (COF) between a shoe sole and walkway surfaces (e.g., wood, PVC, tile) under lubricated conditions. The shoe slip resistance tester applies a set load and moves the test surface horizontally against a fixed specimen, quantifying kinetic friction force. This enables objective judgment of slip resistance, ensuring compliance with international standards like ISO 13287, ASTM F2913, and SATRA TM144, thereby helping prevent accidents.
MARK II Slip Resistance Tester is to determine maximum static friction of test specimen and floor by ratio of load horizontal force and vertical force.
