Application

To determine the amount of water vapor an assembly or a single material will absorb and transmit through its structure in a specified time. It is mainly applicable to leathers and textiles used in footwear uppers and clothing.

Principle

An assembly of circular test specimens is clamped across the open end of a vertical cylindrical chamber containing a specified volume of warm water. After a set time the mass of water absorbed by , and transmitted through, the test specimens is measured. The test is designed to give a measure of the ability of a material to remove perspiration from the skin.

1. Materials of outer chamber: 2mm Double-sided color coated steel with power coated surface.
2. Materials of inner chamber: using SUS304 stainless steel, seamless welded. Beside, the outer structure of the inner chamber is reinforced with 10mm steel plates to meet the structural strength requirements of the bending test.
3. With vacuum glass observation window, more effective to observe the testing situation.
4. Temperature control: adopt 7inch color touch screen with Chinese and English version, easy to operate.
5. All the testing cups are made of SUS304 stainless steel, have a good corrosion resistance and anti-rust property.
6. The insert water bath has separate heating controller with nice thermo insulating property.
