The fully automatic filament network degree tester is used to measure the network degree of synthetic fiber filaments. It adopts the instrument needle-moving method and can test the network nodes and network strength of FDY and DTY.
Standards
FZ/T 50001
The number of nodes per metre of yarn is tested by placing the yarn on top of a motor servo system, which detects and counts the nodes of interlacing degree by means of needling. Mechanical needling systems can also control the quality of interlacing degree, and only nodes that reach the tension set by the operator are considered valid interlacing degree. The tension that binds the monofilaments together is a key criterion for the application of yarns in textiles. The quality of a bundle of filaments is determined by the number of nodes, uniformity and strength over a given length.
The test is carried out by inserting a needle into the filament, a physical test method that accurately measures the number of nodes according to the FZ/T 50001 test standard.
