Leak and Sealing Tester GT-N69C (Positive Pressure & Creep Testing)
Application
It is used for quantitative determination of sealing strength, heat sealing quality, as well as expansion pressure and sealing leakage performance of the whole bag, quantitative determination of sealing performance of various plastic anti-theft caps, quantitative determination of the overall sealing performance of various flexible tubes, pressure strength, cap connection strength, debuttoning strength, sealing strength of heat sealing edges, and tying strength, etc.; meanwhile, it can also be used to quantitatively determine the indicators of compressive strength and breakage strength of materials used for flexible packaging bags, cap torque sealing indicators, cap connection debuttoning strength, material stress strength, as well as the sealing performance of the whole bottle body, compressive strength and breakage strength.
Standards:
ISO 11607-1, ISO 11607-2, ASTM F1140, ASTM F2054, GB/T 17876-2010, GB/T 10440, GB 18454,

Q1: Why should I choose Leak and Sealing Tester GT-N69C (Positive Pressure) over the Water Bath method (Negative Pressure)?
A: While the water bath method is great for visual leak detection, the GT-N69C provides quantitative data. It measures the exact burst pressure in kPa or PSI. For medical device packaging and high-standard food safety, providing a numerical value for seal strength is often a regulatory requirement (ASTM F1140/F2054).
Q2: Does the GT-N69C require special fixtures or accessories?
A: Yes. We offer a variety of accessories for different packaging formats, and we can provide customized fixtures based on your samples.
Q3: What practical significance does a "Creep Test" have for my packaging?
A: A creep test simulates how packaging performs under prolonged pressure—such as the atmospheric pressure changes encountered during air transport or the compressive forces experienced when stacked on pallets. If your product requires long-distance shipping or undergoes high-temperature and high-pressure sterilization, a creep test ensures that the seals will not gradually crack or fail under sustained pressure.
1. GT-N69B: Automatic Vacuum Seal Tester (Negative Pressure)
Best if you need: To visually locate micro-leaks using the bubble emission method (ASTM D3078).
2. GT-N69A: Economical vacuum seal tester
Best if you need: A low-cost, durable solution for basic daily QC checks.
